Pinocchio has been a friend of Ireland AM for many years. We would like to share the recipes Giuseppe Crupi, director of the Pinocchio Italian Cookery School, prepared live on the program to show how to embrace traditional dishes.
The recipe of the day is: Tuna Steak.
A quick, tasty and light meal option.
Serves 4 people
4 tuna steaks (about 170 g each)
1/2 cup sesame seeds (black and/or white)
Some extra virgin olive oil to cook the fish.
For the salad:
2 cups boiled quinoa
150g mixed leaves
400 g tomatoes
1 row onion.
For the dressing:
8 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
4 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. coconut oil
2 tbsp. honey
garlic to taste
salt to taste.
Before cooking, marinate the tuna in a bowl, for 20 minutes, with some rosemary and garlic to your liking and add lemon squeeze and extra virgin olive oil till to cover it.
