Suffice to say that one of the greatest Irish writers James Joyce lived in Trieste and made it his home for many years.
The Friuli Venezia Giulia tourism board joined forces with Trieste Airport to welcome Irish people to visit these beautiful landscapes and discover an extraordinary word of culture, culinary delicatessens and outdoor experiences.
The operation was promoted through a special event at Pinocchio Restaurant in Dublin.
While sipping traditional wines and tasting the typical cuisine of the region, the guests could step in Friuli Venezia Giulia for a night in a cosy atmosphere that truly reflected the renown Friulian hospitality.
