Adrian + Meredith = Troubadours on the go

Always been ones to make their own path, Adrian + Meredith create a very different type of musical sound.  With Adrian playing acoustic guitar and Meredith playing violin/fiddle, the two blend their voices and include stomp boards and clogging to create a high energy live show. Adrian+Meredith have you on your feet dancing, clapping, and stomping along with music that has the spirit of punk, the twang of folk, the flavor of Polka, and the bounce swing.

Bad For Business (released August 20th, 2021) takes their fearless Americana to new heights with an album that resembles a raucous, rebellious and home-spun variety show. The record is the sound of Adrian + Meredith’s front door, propped wide open. The listener is drawn inside by the couple’s warmth, intensity and frankness—and in the end, left with a sense of easy joy and friendship the times have all but forgot.

Rogue folk duo Adrian + Meredith have always been ones to march to their own beat, and have never been apologetic for the art they create.  Since the duo joined forces in 2015, they have been pounding the pavement, putting their own spin on Americana.  Their music embodies the spirit of the human story with a nod to punk, the heart of folk, flavor of Polka, and bounce of swing.  Their live show will have you on your feet dancing, clapping, and stomping along.

2019 was filled with 175+ dates touring the USA and Europe with opening shows in the UK with The Legendary Shack Shakers, and tours in Sweden, Norway, and Eastern Europe alongside their US markets in the Midwest, East and West Coast.  In the wake of Covid, this duo has been pushing forward with their sophomore release Bad For Business (released August 20th, 2021). Four years since their debut release, Adrian + Meredith take their fearless, blistering, and Balkan-tinged Americana to new heights with an album that resembles a raucous, rebellious and home-spun variety show. The record is the sound of Adrian + Meredith’s front door, propped wide open. The listener is drawn inside by the couple’s warmth, intensity and frankness—and in the end, left with a sense of easy joy and friendship the times have all but forgot.

This year looks hopeful for festivals, shows, tours, and getting back to what these troubadours love, the road.
