Tagliatelle alla Bolognese

Pinocchio has been a friend of Ireland AM for many years. We would like to share the recipes Giuseppe Crupi, director of the Pinocchio Italian Cookery School, prepared live on the program to show how to embrace traditional dishes.

The recipe of the day is: Tagliatelle alla Bolognese.

It’s one of the most popular Italian dish: a rich and tasty main course perfect for special occasions. Watch the video to learn how to prepare it.

Ingredients:

(Serve 6 people)

Dough:
350 gr semolina flour
150 gr 00 flour
5 eggs

1 tbs extra virgin olive oil

Sauce (Ragù alla Bolognese):
500gr minced beef
1 Carrot
2 Celery stalks
1 Onion
Extra virgin Olive oil
50 gr Tomato paste
400 ml Blended Peeled tomatoes

1 glass Red wine (optional)

TIPS: Cook the sauce on low heat for two and a half hours.
