Etlis: 1000 Falls

Luigi Cirelli, known as Etlis, is a singer and rapper who grew up in Scalea (Italy) where he developed a deep passion for music. His sound is a unique blend influenced by the Italian songwriting tradition of his father and the rap and rock interests of his older sister. These genres became the core of his musical identity. After moving to Rome at age 18, Etlis began collaborating with producers such as Rick Freak, Blashish, Xeno, and Dr. Wesh. His journey started in the freestyle scene, where he frequently reached the semifinals in various competitions.

Following his 2018 concept album NON, which explored society, individualism, and relationships, Etlis returns on March 6th, 2026, with the new EP 1000 cadute (1000 falls). This project marks a significant chapter in his career, merging alternative rap, rock, and pop into a hybrid sound. A decisive turning point occurred when he met producer Rick Freak, leading Etlis to rediscover rock and mix it with rap and songwriting to create a sound full of energy and cultural experimentation. The central concept of the new EP revolves around the falls of life, serving as a symbol for the failures and difficulties every human being faces. This metaphor is deeply personal to Etlis, drawing heavily from the skate culture of his past. The visual identity of the project is captured on the cover, showing Etlis falling into a void surrounded by his signature green light.

The tracks explore themes like the weight of regret and the feeling of being out of place. Through this EP, Etlis narrates human fragility and the determination needed to transform every fall into an opportunity for growth. His path to this release has been shaped by extensive live experience, including opening for major artists like Luché, Rancore, and Dargen D’Amico. His discography already features impactful singles and videos such as Battiti sotto la pioggiA (Beats under the rain), Buco nello stomaco (Hole in the stomach), Fuggire da me (Running away from myself), 1000 dipendenze (1000 addictions), and Ghiaccio & fiamme (Ice & flames).

Pinocchio Magazine: Etlis captures the raw strength needed to rise after a fall. This EP is not just a collection of songs, but a sincere reflection on human difficulty and the profound internal power required to start over after every failure, turning each bruise into a step forward.
