An exhibition by Missy Brinkmeyer opens at The LAB Gallery in Dublin. Curated by Margarita Cappock, the show runs from 4 December 2025 to 10 January 2026.
Seen presents a focused selection of photographs made in central Dublin. The project looks at how people share public space, often close, often separate, yet connected. The images move through everyday moments and quiet encounters that usually go unnoticed.
Pinocchio Magazine is proud that its previous article on Missy was cited in the exhibition booklet.
Margarita frames the exhibition as a partial window into the artist’s wider archive, offering a clear slice of how Missy builds meaning through repetition, proximity, and timing.

In this new exhibition Missy confirms a deep and elegant personality that forges her artistic style, a strong and effortless artistic style. Once again we find her poetic ability to celebrate the world around her in its special nature in the everyday, searching for beauty in faces, gestures, smiles, to give portraits that are an invitation to observe details and to search for beauty with playfulness.
